Our culture has made sexuality the prominent point of our individual identity. However, sexual identity is not a Biblical concept. God established the ideal expression of sexuality in the very beginning - within the act of creation - and is continued on throughout Scripture.

As we navigate finding our identity in who God made us to be we can look to Jesus, His understanding, and the walking out of His identity. When Jesus is central to our lives, our true selves will become evident.

Names carry significance. This is why we sometimes call attempts to craft our own identity, “making a name for ourself.” But there is a danger in making your own name, and there is blessing and fruitfulness in accepting the name that God makes for you.
