ACTS #10 - Philip & Simon

The persecution that erupted after the death of Stephen drove the believers out of Jerusalem to the 4 corners of the world - they were running for their lives.

As they went, they took the gospel with them, & everyone, everywhere that they encountered heard the message of forgiveness of sins, repentance, water baptism, & ultimately, the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

Our text today is Acts 8:3-25, & it centers on one of the Greek speaking Jews that had been appointed to care for widows in Acts 6: Philip. This passage follows Philip on his travels to Samaria, as well as his interactions with an eager new believer, Simon, a former magician/sorceror.
