ACTS #8 - Trouble with the Widows

The church was buzzing in the wake of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and the steady stream of signs, wonders, & miracles that followed the preaching & teaching of the gospel. Every day, more men & women came to the faith & were added to the church.

A problem arose, however, that was directly tied to the miraculous growth: a group of Hellenistic Jews had a complaint. The Greek-cultured widows were not being adequately cared for or provided for in the daily distribution of food, clothes, & resources; something had to change.

In this message, staff pastor Ben Locke talks from Acts 6.
